Internet Access
Internet access is required to participate in online components of your college courses at Huntington Junior College. An Internet Service Provider (ISP) will provide you with the software and access necessary to utilize the Internet.
  • Recommended: LAN, Cable, or DSL connection. Highly recommended for optimal student experience.
  • 56k Dial-up, Satellite, or Wireless Internet conncetions are not recommended. Performance may be suboptimal due to latency and signal instability. Courses will have suboptimal performance when accessed through any of these connections.
If AOL is your ISP, you must use the Internet Explorer or Firefox broswer, rather than the default AOL browswer, to complete coursework in an online course.

If you connect to the Internet through your company, you may need to ensure that appropriate plug-ins and access rights are available to you. Check with your IT department to ensure that you may access course materials from your company's network.

Please make sure you are using the most current version of your Internet Browswer (Internet Explorer or Firefox):
